RIP. Mark Linkous.  I only met him when we shot these photos but some of his music played a big part of my time on canal street. Dill and I used to listen to this song on repeat and skate around the apartment on our backs.

here lies the final page of my new journal/portfolios. after 3 months of countless mistakes, 36 exacto blades, 534 prints, 3 bottles of sumi ink, 4 cans of flat black spray paint, 412 pages cut and folded, 8 covers upholstered, 12 cans of spray glue, 6 hours of sewing and pretty much destroying my office i can finally say I’m finished. if you would like to see one, contact Tracey Quigley (west coast) or Sherry Riad (east coast)

i’m getting pretty good at keeping myself entertained while waiting to shoot. this photo was taken on the last day of job that started almost 2 weeks ago in australia and finished in santa monica. its going to be a rad campaign and i’ll post more photos and info once im allowed.

rene has impeccable aim which i found somewhat surprising being that when i met him he was known as the chief and did not have the steadiest of hands. when i told him that i had referred to him as my “life coach” to my agent, his response was “did you tell her that i’ve mugged old ladies and smoked crack from an antenna”… who says people cant change?

i’m still alive. shot jeff bridges last month in santa barbara along with a bunch of other stuff i’m not allowed to share yet… I know its been over a month since my last post but we’re in the final stages of getting the movie done and its been pretty much 24/7… Had two screenings last week and the feedback was very positive, lots of work still ahead but the finish line is seriously in sight. New post later this week with more details.
