JOSHUA TREE MIKE PISCITELLI
i went to joshua tree to edit 300 proof sheets, get away from the computer/phone/texting/twitter/facebook/blog and to see if i could channel some gram parsons into my life. i got through 10,000 photos, stayed off my phone, forgot about the internet and yelled at the sun from the tops of prehistoric rock formations. i spent two days alone in this vastness waiting for gram to speak… he never did. i’m not discounting the magic that came from my stay at the joshua tree inn but i’m pretty sure it had more to do with the desert than the ghost of a flying burrito brother or maybe thats just how gram works…
