People ask me all the time how I can stand living on the west side. “Don’t you feel so cut off,” Fuck No.  I don’t get to surf everyday but there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t hop in mother ocean. I have yet to find an equal substitute on the east side and therefore can safely say that as long as I live in California it will be walking distance to the ocean.
